Full Time Non-Exempt, 35 hours per week Position Summary The Project Manager of Connected Community Schools is responsible for the day to day supervision and support of staff of the Connected Community Schools initiative; including oversight of the classroom programming, family engagement activities, school hubs and LINK for assigned school districts. This position provides supervision to direct staff including Site Coordinators and collaborating with the identified agencies within the community; assuring appropriate oversight and adherence to the community school requirements. This position oversees all populations, but primarily children and families. This position provides outreach and marketing opportunities to prospective districts, technical assistance, helping facilitate decisions, and coordinates meetings. Acts as a liaison and resource to staff, community-based organizations, school staff/faculty and individuals served. This position will work very closely with the Director and Executive Director of Connected Community Schools to ensure all program deliverables are being met by tracking and trending data minimally monthly.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Typical schedule 8am-4pm with Flexibility to work in the evening or on a weekend day. Activities include but are not limited to the following: Become familiar with the nature of a Community School and its Pillars. Become familiar with the Connected Community Schools Model. Become familiar with Connected Community Schools policies and procedures. Works with school district staff, including but not limited to district and building administration, guidance, and social work staff, to learn district wide policies and procedures, as well as building specific policies and procedures. Attends school meetings as needed. Become familiar with existing school resources and programs. Attends and completes all trainings and certifications as required by the Connected Community Schools Program. Work with the CCS team to conduct the district Needs Assessment and school climate survey. Responsible for Resource Mining in the district’s local community; shadowing programs, outreach to organizations, businesses, agencies in community in order to develop relationships and partnerships that can be accessed for the Community School. Required to traveling between connected district sites, administrative office and/or community locations as designated by the Connected Community Schools Management Team for in person meetings and/or trainings. Facilitate a consistent schedule of “supervision meetings” with assigned Site Coordinators biweekly (if new staff, then must meet weekly throughout the employees first 90 days of employment). All “supervision meetings” should be documented and follow up completed at the next scheduled meeting or as appropriate using the designated template (Staff Support and Supervision- Connected Community Schools). Review and oversight of assigned staff mileage to include verifying that submitted requests are accurate and coincide with staff schedules and documented appointments. All assigned staff mileage approvals/verifications must be submitted no later than the 1st of each month. (Mileage can also be completed on a biweekly basis to coincide with the payroll calendar if easier.) Maintain assigned staff’s use of time in Paychex to maintain accuracy and to keep staff at assigned 35 hours per week. Must be completed following the biweekly payroll schedule. to working over scheduled hours by the Management Team. Coordinate and facilitate Staff Team Meetings to discuss program/project updates, case reviews etc. On an ongoing basis, act as liaison with School Districts and all and Community Network Providers. As required, conduct orientation and training for new staff including oversight for completing LITMOS trainings, in person Trainings for Community Schools Staff and ensure that staff understand the policy and procedures. Complete performance evaluations on all assigned staff on a yearly basis according to the staff’s date of hire. New staff should be reviewed after their first 90 days of employment and then yearly thereafter if satisfactory. Assist with identifying new trainings for staff and scheduling/performing in-services when applicable. Utilizing coaching forms with assigned staff when applicable.

Must follow policy and report within 24 hours. Conducts interviews of new Site Coordinators if applicable Participate and co-facilitate LINK/Site Committee meetings in collaboration with assigned Site Coordinators Attend CCS Advisory Board Meetings and all other appropriate community-based meetings as assigned Collect, track, and maintain oversight of LINK data and SCAN Tool data with the utilization of project-specific trackers, School Tools, and other applicable resources and produces appropriate weekly and monthly outcome data as directed by the VP of Integrated Children’s Services, Operations Manager and/or Executive Team. Oversight and participate in District/Community Wide Programming events (I.e., Family Engagement Night, Community Wide Food Drop etc.) Creation and monitoring of databases/spreadsheets relevant to data collection required by contract Using data in the overall evaluation of the procedures/workflows and revising as necessary Oversight of service delivery including classroom programming, family engagement activities, LINK referrals, LINK Committee’s, Site Committee’s and Hubs within the assigned school districts. Monthly Reports (due no later than the 1st business day of each month by 12pm) to your assigned supervisor, utilizing the designated template. Develop workflows in collaboration with project team members Participate in Quality Review meetings with Administration team; if applicable Additional duties assigned as applicable to the needs of the district and/or community school initiative Universal Responsibilities Comply with all pertinent regulatory and agency regulations and operating standards. Establish a work environment that creates positive communication between supervisors and employees and assimilates new employees to the Agency’s culture, values and mission. Participate in activities as part of the team that may include meetings, trainings, and committees. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related Human Services Field with five (5) years’ experiences in working directly with persons with a behavioral health diagnosis and experience in providing direct services to people with SMI, developmental disabilities, or alcoholism or substance abuse or in linking individuals with SMI, developmental disabilities or alcoholism or substance use to a broad range of services essential to successful living in a community setting. Prior management experience preferred. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms). Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License. Travel is required. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances are warranted. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Certain deadlines and unanticipated developments may require work during evenings, weekends. Ability to quickly address any emergent issues without losing focus on task at hand. The employee must have full sight and hearing with fluency in the English language. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk and sit. Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
