Substation Project Manager Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Substation Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of substation projects. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in project management and technical knowledge of substations will be critical in driving the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage substation projects from initiation to closure Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed Communicate project status to stakeholders and provide regular updates Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies Oversee quality control and project documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the energy or utility sector Strong knowledge of substation design and construction Proven track record of managing large-scale projects Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills PMP certification preferred Proficiency in project management software Commercial and Industrial experience is also desirable
