Woodhaven, NY Overview:

Jo-Vin Decorators is seeking an experienced Sales and Project Manager to lead sales efforts and manage projects for both commercial and residential clients . This role combines business development, project coordination, and client service in the interior design and window treatment space, with a focus on delivering quality results and maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive new business and manage existing accounts across commercial and residential markets . Serve as the main point of contact for assigned projects, from quote to installation. Coordinate project logistics including material sourcing, production timelines, delivery, and installation. Gather all necessary job details and coordinate with internal estimators; review quotes for accuracy and profitability. Support day-to-day project needs such as site measuring, vendor quotes, and client communication. Identify and pursue new leads through in-person visits, phone, email, and networking. Maintain CRM records, sales pipelines, and reporting tools accurately. Schedule and prioritize daily tasks to maximize productivity. Collaborate with internal teams (production, installers, admin) to ensure projects run smoothly. Represent Jo-Vin at trade shows and presentations as needed. Provide consistent and professional customer service before, during, and after the sale. Report issues promptly with recommendations to senior leadership. Adhere to all company procedures, including timely activity reporting and client billing updates.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Interior Design, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in interior design, fabric, or window treatments for commercial and/or residential projects. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and profitability goals. Strong project management, organizational, and follow-through skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and virtual communication tools. Strong time management and multitasking capabilities. Comfortable in a commission-based sales structure. Valid driver’s license required. Familiarity with field work, installation environments, and light lifting as needed.

Performance Metrics:

Achievement of monthly sales and margin targets. Lead generation and successful customer conversion rates. Timely and accurate quotes and project documentation. High customer satisfaction and repeat business. Effective use of CRM and adherence to activity reporting standards. Responsiveness and resolution of project or customer issues.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time, in-person role based in our Woodhaven office and on-site at commercial and residential client locations . Remote work is not available for this position.
