After completing at least 6 weeks of on-site training and familiarization with the company personnel, systems and activities, as determined by the company, this becomes primarily a remote position. Employees may work from home, with the understanding that the company may occasionally require on-site attendance that include but are not limited to: addressing urgent situations, when participating in team bonding events, when participating in special celebrations. We typically hire candidates living within 1 hour of our location to facilitate training, but will consider applicants from outside our area IF their project management experience has been in the sign industry. The Essential Functions of the Project Manager include: Execute projects from new request through completion while taking direct responsibility for all project milestones that include, but may not be limited to the following: Obtaining thorough and accurate survey information of the subject property Research and evaluate zoning code information Contact landlords for understanding and discussion about their property requirements as they relate to signs. Obtain necessary landlord approvals. Analyze survey information and provide direction to graphics team for layout creation Obtain estimates from manufacturing and installation vendor partners Build cost proposals that meet client needs and internal profit margin requirements Work with subcontractors to obtain permits Issue purchase orders to various vendors required to execute project Process invoices and obtain all necessary paperwork to close out project Responsible for all project costs, profit margins, and final invoicing to accounting department upon project completion Manage sub-contractor activities Maintain 90% or better on-time delivery through customer driven deadlines as well as internal milestones Maintain detailed and accurate project notes in project management software, “Sign Manager” Provide prompt and detailed communication to client, both written and verbal as required to keep client informed of project status Lead weekly client calls as required by account need The Skills and Requirements of the Project Manager include: Strong pro-active communication skills, both verbal and written Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal driven Strong problem-solving skills Ability to meet aggressive project deadlines Proficient computer skills Ability to prioritize and manage a daily task list The culture at Egan Sign is a team environment built around these values: Respect
