The AssistantProject Manager works with the Project Manager in running theday-to-day project management operations on the job.

Responsibilities Log-in and track Contracts & Purchase Orders Useexperience and judgment to price, approve and/or reject ProjectChange Orders, Submittals, and respond to Requests for InformationLog-in, track and review shop drawings and submittals and respondto Requests for Information Request Insurance Certificates fromsubcontractors to review for compliance with the Company’sinsurance requirements Create and update Vendor and SubcontractorContact Log Price and create Proposed Change Orders Submit, trackresponse and issue Requests for Information Responsible formanaging the building permit process and resolving any issuesrelated thereto Plan revision submissions to municipality Work withCompany Attorneys on contracts, Insurance Certificates, Insurancediscrepancies & Contract modifications Act as a liaison withsubcontractors to resolve any disputes, questions, or issuesrelated to subcontractor’s work and progress. Assist with ProjectSchedule Narratives Take Weekly Video and distribute to GeneralManager Create Weekly Meeting Minutes – Owner’s and Subcontractorsmeetings Set up coordination meetings with SubcontractorsDistribute revised drawings to Subcontractors Using best judgment,write up descriptions for Purchase Orders and Subcontract RequestsResponsible for obtaining and tracking Subcontractor warrantycertificates Responsible for creating close-out manuals Conductstraining for OSHA 10 or 30 Hour, HAZWOPER, and other Safety relatedtopics Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline 2years of related experience or completion of Suffolk’s Career StartProgram as a Project Engineer or Project Engineer with another firmThe ability to manage and embrace change. Respond and adapt to newprocesses and new ways of looking at old problems Computer LiterateGood communication skills Accurate with an attention to detailCandidate must possess
