Philadelphia, PA George Higginson is currently searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager , with experience across CMC development . Working for a Biologics specialist CDMO , you will lead integrated development and manufacturing programs across biologics , ADCs , and other cutting-edge therapeutics. The incumbent will be in a client-facing role that will steer cross-functional teams across process development, analytical method validation, and manufacturing – while contributing to a collaborative, high-performance project management function.
Specific Responsibilities:
Lead strategic project planning, scheduling, and budgeting for complex CMC programs. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparent communication and timely delivery of project milestones. Facilitate internal alignment across development, operations, and quality teams. Drive risk identification and mitigation planning. Own and run kick-off and Joint Team Meetings, including documentation and follow-ups. Support ERP activities, invoicing, material procurement, cost control, and revenue recognition. Manage project budgets and financial forecasting. Mentor junior team members and contribute to PM process improvements. Support inter-site project transfers and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications/Requirements:
MS in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years CMC experience in small molecules, biologics, or ADCs and broad knowledge of all aspects of CMC including process development, regulatory and quality requirements, analytical development, formulation and drug product technologies. Proven track record of managing complex, multi-disciplinary programs. At least 3 years in a client-facing Project Management role. Strong knowledge of analytical, formulation, and process development stages from Phase 1 through commercialization. Solid understanding of regulatory, quality, and financial aspects of CMC programs. Expertise in project management tools and methodologies. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ready to take the lead on cutting-edge CMC programs?
