Job Description
NFJP Project Coordinator 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Cheraw, SC 29520 JOB National Farmworker Jobs Program Grant Project Coordinator Under general supervision, manages and coordinates all tasks associated with one or more small projects or a component of a larger project of minimal to moderate complexity and risk.
Responsibilities Include:
Serves as the point-of-contact at designated college site and service area locations to provide leadership and promotion of NFJP services. Manages and maintains project operations within assigned site following established NFJP guidelines. Prepares and maintains project records.
Provides outreach services interacting with community to provide information on the National Farmworker Jobs Program. Recruits and determines eligibility for potential NFJP participation.
Enrolls eligible participants into various NFJP program services. Prepares and maintains necessary documentation. Performs case management services to document, track, train, and assist participants in their respective program activity.
Participates in and/or sponsors professional development activities to provide or acquire program information, marketing, training and knowledge and skills attainment. Plans and participates in meetings, both internal and external to promote NFJP program operations.
Ensures the safety of NFJP participants in all approved services and activities provided by the program. Performs additional duties as assigned.

State Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma and relevant experience. Must have a valid drivers license.
NETC Preferred Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years professional experience in project coordination and/or management.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Works under general supervision of the NFJP Consortium Director. Coordinates all tasks associated with one or more small projects or a component of a larger project of minimal to moderate complexity and risk. Manages and coordinators enrollment of the NFJP participants, being students and/or parents, and family member as deemed appropriate. In state and local travel required.

State Holidays Work/Life Balance Work Schedule:
The college has transitioned to a permanent four-day work-week schedule, effective June 2, 2025. The college operating hours (open to the public) are Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
