Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with expertise in security technology and structured cabling to join our team in Greer, South Carolina. As this is a Contract-to-permanent position, the ideal candidate will focus on managing project requests, budgets, and plans while ensuring high-quality service delivery. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to oversee technician performance and vendor collaboration effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time and obstacles are addressed promptly.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project proposals, schedules, budgets, and documentation to align with business goals.
- Monitor technician performance and provide training to enhance team efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with vendors to meet deadlines and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Facilitate communication and integration across project teams and external vendors.
- Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and implement tailored solutions.
- Provide regular updates to management on project progress, including materials, workforce, and budgetary considerations.
- Verify job site material deliveries, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare invoices and associated documents for review and approval by the Operations Director.
- Evaluate the design, construction, and maintenance of telecommunications networks to ensure optimal performance. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, organization, and control.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance measurement.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication to effectively convey information and procedures.
- Familiarity with Office tools and operational analysis techniques.
- Industry certifications and additional manufacturer-specific training preferred.
- Knowledge of broadband, cable television, Cisco technologies, and Apple devices.
- Experience in accounting and billing processes.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to negotiate contract terms.
