The Project Manager leads the integration of engineering, manufacturing, procurement and other supporting teams to successfully execute contract requirements profitably. The Project Manager directly engages with customers to positively manage relationships. This position requires a leader with a proven track record of both managing complex technical projects involving manufacturing and the ability to identify and implement business process improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Will include the following, but other duties may be assigned: Execute the full project management life cycle from initiation to closeout for multiple projects simultaneously. Develop and manage project budgets, estimates to complete and provide project performance data driving revenue and cash forecasts. Develop and manage project schedules including cross-team logic linked tasks. Coordinate project execution among all involved teams and collaborate with functional leadership to address project needs. Proactively identify and manage plans for project risks, issues and opportunities. Communicate project status regarding schedule, cost, deliverables, risks, issues and opportunities internally and externally. Serve as primary customer interface for assigned projects. Capture and share lessons learned to improve business portfolio performance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in project management, business engineering, or related field. PMP certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years leading cross-functional teams on design and production projects, preferably with a manufacturing component. Ability to support occasional travel both international and/or domestic (< 10%).
