Walker White Mechanical is growing and looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. If you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction , a sharp mind for planning, and a strong desire to grow in the mechanical contracting industry—this role was built with you in mind.

What You’ll Do:

As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll work alongside seasoned professionals to support mechanical contracting projects from kickoff to closeout.

Your days may include:

Assisting with project scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination Reviewing plans and specifications Performing takeoffs and supporting estimates Helping manage job cost reports, RFIs, submittals, and documentation Supporting on-site field coordination with superintendents and subcontractors Communicating with vendors, clients, and internal team members Learning project management practices from the ground up

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Required) Internship or co-op experience in the construction or mechanical trades preferred, but not required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills – written and verbal Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with construction management software is a plus Eagerness to grow within a supportive, fast-paced team environment
