The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, particularly in commercial construction and multi-family projects. Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Help manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure adherence to financial plans
Support the Project Manager in conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and contracts
Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external partners
Assist in problem-solving and troubleshooting issues that arise during the construction process
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
2+ years of experience in construction project management or related roles
Familiarity with commercial construction and multi-family projects
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
