The Housing Construction and Renovations Project Manager, working under the supervision of the Director of Construction and Renovation for Housing assists with the coordination and management of projects for University Housing and Student Affairs including overall monitoring of contract administration and the planning, design, bidding, construction, and close out phases of project performance. When assigned, acts as the University Housing client representative. This position has been designated as essential personnel during inclement/hazardous weather and other emergencies.

Primary Duties:

Oversee, consult, and support University Housing construction and renovation projects, while supervising interior designers.
Manage projects throughout the entire project cycle, including predesign meetings, site investigations, schematic design, construction documents, and construction administration.
Meet with clients to document design criteria and overall project requirements using sketches, meeting minutes, and other written communications.
Communicate and coordinate division project issues with both internal and external clients.
Convey departmental mission, objectives, and standards to consultants, contractors, and project management teams.
