As part of the Student Affairs and Academic Support shared services team, the Strategic Projects & Marketing Manager ( SPM ) will serve as the primary project manager for the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support. The successful candidate will have an expert understanding of overseeing marketing and communications projects with moderate to significant complexity while delivering results in a fast-paced environment. The Strategic Projects & Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans, managing marketing projects, and overseeing branding efforts.
Primary Duties:
Manages the Student Affairs marketing ticketing system by overseeing the intake, evaluation, and tracking of all project requests. Monitors the progress of ongoing projects, delivers regular updates to stakeholders, and reviews completed work to ensure quality before closing tickets. Collaborate with internal and external partners including creative, digital, communications, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall project goals and strategic initiatives. Oversee and guide a marketing student ambassador team to enhance engagement through division-wide events. Collect routine project updates from team members, monitor timelines and deliverables, and provide weekly progress reports to the Marketing and Communications team. Coordinate with vendors and other key professionals to obtain crucial project details, including measurements, print specifications, pricing quotes, and other relevant information.
