POSITION TITLE

Dewey Plant – Operations Manager (Projects)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Operations Manager (Projects) at our Dewey Plantis responsible for leading and managing the plant’s capital project portfolio, driving process improvements, and supporting safety, environmental, and cost initiatives. This role partners cross-functionally to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations while introducing new equipment and products to the facility. The work schedule for this role is Monday – Friday, 1st shift.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and coordinate plant capital projects (CapEx) and feasibility studies. Support safety, regulatory compliance, and

OSHA VPP

Star requirements. Drive environmental compliance with Title V and stormwater permits. Develop and implement process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and process reliability improvements. Support associate development, training, and morale across technical teams. Collaborate with operations, engineering, finance, and corporate leadership to align project priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree required; degree in engineering or a related technical field strongly preferred. Strong leadership and project management experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of process safety management, environmental compliance, and capital project execution. Experience with continuous improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization.
