HR Operations Project Manager II Job Functions Manage Projects Define and Align Scope & Objectives:

Clearly articulate project scope, objectives, and ensure alignment with strategic outcomes.

Project Planning:

Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and milestones.

Meeting Facilitation:

Lead project meetings, workshops, and stand-ups, ensuring all sessions are productive and goal oriented.

Project Documentation:

Maintain action item, decision, and risk logs. Create and update project artifacts like workflow diagrams, presentations, proposals, and knowledge bases.

Risk Management:

Proactively identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor project risks.

Stakeholder Management:

Foster effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.

Quality Assurance:

Oversee the development and execution of test plans, ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards.

Training & Change Management:

Facilitate the creation and implementation of training and change management plans to support project adoption.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Manage stakeholder expectations and engagement throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring buy-in and support for project initiatives. Sprint /

Scrum Management Schedule and Host Scrum Ceremonies:

Facilitate and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions for two teams. Ensure these meetings are timeboxed and adhere to Scrum principles to maximize value. Using Jira and other tools to manage and visualize sprint progress.

Backlog Management:

Support translating strategic priorities into actionable, prioritized backlog items.

Implementation of Scrum Best Practices:

Drive the adoption of Scrum methodologies, tailoring practices to fit team dynamics while maintaining the integrity of Scrum principles. Promote Scrum values with team members on Scrum roles, events, and artifacts to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization. Implement and refine Scrum practices based on feedback from retrospectives and team leaders, aiming for incremental process enhancements.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:

Collaborate with team leaders to leverage metrics to measure sprint success, including velocity, sprint burndown, and cycle time. Use these metrics to inform decisions and optimize workflows.

Risk Management:

Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to sprint commitments. Adapt sprint plans in response to emergent issues or changes in project scope.

Tool Proficiency:

Be proficient in using Scrum tools for project tracking, ensuring that all team members have access to necessary information for effective sprint execution. Level 13 Why Clayton?
