Program Manager to support the implementation of TDH’s DataModernization efforts as a part of the Office of Informatics andAnalytics (OIA). This position will directly support TDH’s DataModernization work with regards to program administration andcoordination, associated grant, contract, and resource management,financial management, program planning and communication,overseeing program documentation management, and assisting withrelated workforce development needs. This position will workclosely with other members of OIA including the administrative,core informatics, advanced analytics and visualization, and datagovernance teams, as well as with various TDH divisions andprograms, including with Information Technology staff. Thisposition will be directly supervised by and responsible forsupporting the TDH Data Modernization director and Chief PublicHealth Informatics Officer in coordinating Data Modernizationactivities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate activities, communications, and documentation acrossthe three focus areas of the TDH Data Modernization Strategyincluding workforce development, data governance, and data andsystems.
- Manage TDH Data Modernization related procurement andcontracts
- Maintain the TDH Data Modernization budget across projects andfunding sources. Assist with monitoring expenditures.
- Manage TDH Data Modernization resource management
- Oversee TDH Data Modernization related communication strategiesincluding but not limited to sharepoint pages, data town halls,newsletters, and program email communications.
- Facilitate TDH Data Modernization related workgroups.
- Oversee TDH Data Modernization related documentation includingassociated development, maintenance, publishing, anddistribution.
- Oversee project status tracking for all Data Modernizationrelated projects, including escalation and publication of statusreports and assist with grant reporting on performance metrics andmeasures.
- Maintain TDH Data Modernization related planning and plandocuments.
- Provide support for TDH Data Modernization related projects asassigned which may include support for workforce developmentactivities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least abachelor’s degree, and six years of professional level experiencein either or in combination of the following areas: (1) systematicanalysis of overall work processes for business or informationsystems; or (2) project management; two of the six years mustinclude being a leading team member of a project or projectmanagement. Required experience also includes at least two years ofcontract management. Substitution of Education for

Professional-levelexperience in any one of the following areas may substitute for therequired college degree on a year-for-year basis to a maximumsubstitution of four years: (1) systematic analysis of overall workprocesses for business or information systems; (2) projectmanagement; one of the six years must include being a leading teammember of a project or project management. Required Experience:
