The Project Coordinator will work under the direction of a Project Manager or above to support multiple small or medium projects in meeting their deliverables and objectives. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for developing project plans and monitoring task completion. Additionally, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for communicating deliverable status, both verbally and written, to project stakeholders. Moderate travel may be required, based upon job role.
What you will do in this role:
Organize project activities into manageable work efforts for team members and determine an effective
approach to completing the work, as outlined in the project plan
Manage business owner(s) and team member(s) relationships to accomplish project activities
Proactively identify and manage risks and issues
Monitor and report on project activities, and report on status within published timeline
Coach team members to clarify tasks assignments, milestones, and deliverables
Facilitate the creation of toolkits to support field based implementation
What qualifications you will need:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
1-2 years of project management experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
Healthcare, hospital systems, hospital, supply chain, workforce management, financial services, technical/systems experience a plus
HCA, HealthTrust, or Parallon experience a plus
