Project Manager- Heavy Civil Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Heavy Civil projects to oversee and manage various construction initiatives. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while effectively coordinating with stakeholders and managing resources. Key Responsibilities Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Manage and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and team members to ensure effective communication and project execution. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project issues. Monitor project progress, prepare documentation, and provide regular reporting to clients and management. Ensure compliance with quality control and safety management standards throughout all project stages. Manage contracts and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure the best terms for the project. Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency on-site. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the Heavy Civil construction sector. Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and HCSS. Strong knowledge of construction processes, including asphalt, wastewater, and water treatment plants. Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder management. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction and reporting. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
