Are you ready to lead complex, high-impact engineering projects for a recognized industry leader? RemX is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of customized modular solutions from concept through completion at our client’s state-of-the-art Chattanooga facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage project execution in full compliance with contracts, purchase orders, and technical specifications. Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules, ensuring alignment between internal teams and customer expectations. Proactively identify, negotiate, and manage change orders, securing approvals and integrating changes seamlessly into project plans. Analyze project financials, including material and labor costs, to maintain profitability and resolve discrepancies quickly. Monitor billing milestones, issue timely and accurate invoices, and collaborate with customers to ensure prompt payments. Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring consistent communication and exceptional service. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, Purchasing, and Shipping teams to deliver superior project outcomes. Conduct detailed reviews of customer specifications, contracts, and purchase orders to ensure project accuracy and completeness. Organize and lead project kickoff meetings, design reviews, and status updates with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Proactively identify project risks and issues early, drive effective resolutions, and maintain open communication to minimize disruptions. Provide leadership updates and serve as the single source of truth for project status, challenges, and milestones. Support contract negotiations and manage projects through successful completion and closeout. Oversee procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of all project materials and components. Validate structural and electrical designs for compliance and accuracy. Ensure completion of punch list items and final project documentation. Maintain real-time project status and metrics through the ERP system. Facilitate customer visits, inspections, FAT testing, and vendor interactions to deliver a seamless project experience. Promote additional sales opportunities by building strong, lasting relationships with customers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; alternatively, 5+ years of project management experience in industrial manufacturing, engineering, or construction. PMP Certification preferred. Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems and regulatory requirements (including NEC standards). Ability to read, interpret, and develop designs to meet varied technical specifications. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities effectively. Skilled negotiator, capable of building consensus and resolving conflicts with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated success managing long-term, high-value customer relationships.
