We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Project Manager (Water/Wastewater) who will collaborate with our team to guide and support the delivery of our projects to serve our clients in Chattanooga, TN, and surrounding areas, to implement consistent design and delivery processes, and to achieve our project financial and quality goals. You will work with the program/project delivery team and plant operations team to meet our client project expectations and work to ensure that Jacobs is the consultant-of-choice. Here’s what you will be doing Play a leadership role in project delivery. This typically includes the development and execution of contracts, oversight of other consultants and contractors to ensure consistent quality processes are met, assistance with construction oversight activities, and mentoring and training of project engineers. Support the client service and sales team to win new work through the development of solutions and leveraging existing and developing new client relationships. Lead and manage teams through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other specified requirements stated in the contract. Here’s what you’ll need
Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related engineering field. 7+ years of experience managing water or wastewater infrastructure projects. Demonstrated progressive experience in one or more of the following areas: wastewater, water, operations and maintenance consulting, or related services.
Understanding of project delivery tools and metrics, and a proven history of leading project delivery teams to successfully meet client expectations.
Attributes that include excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, collaborative work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem solving, and a strong organizational approach. Project management, staff management, and business development experience. Ability to lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on complex infrastructure projects. Ideally, you will also have Master of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related engineering field. 10+ years of progressive experience in water or wastewater infrastructure design.
