Job Summary:

IACMI – The Composites Institute is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support our growing portfolio of K-12 initiatives, including InnoCrate, METAL K-12 activities, and youth-focused STEM programming under ACE. This cross-program role will be instrumental in managing project execution, tracking detailed milestones and analytics, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement based on data. With major K-12 contracts underway and more in the pipeline, this position is essential for delivering high-impact, measurable outcomes that support national STEM pipeline growth.

Responsibilities:

Lead project planning, implementation, and execution of IACMI’s K-12 programs, ensuring timely progress toward milestones and alignment with overall program goals. Develop and manage detailed implementation plans, risk mitigation strategies, and program workflows. Design, maintain, and analyze reporting systems to track key metrics, deliverables, and program outcomes. Regularly generate reports and dashboards for internal leadership, funders, and stakeholders, including budget tracking and outcome summaries. Organize and facilitate internal and external meetings (via MS Teams, Zoom, or in-person) to share progress, coordinate tasks, and present program updates. Collaborate with education partners, curriculum developers, and K-12 institutions to gather data, incorporate feedback, and support program enhancements. Represent IACMI at K-12-focused events and workshops, clearly communicating goals and outcomes while capturing event-specific feedback. Coordinate with the communications team to create engaging outreach content and event materials aligned with K-12 audiences and stakeholder needs. Use stakeholder input and analytics to identify opportunities for continuous program improvement and implement recommended changes. Serve as the bridge between K-12 programming and broader workforce efforts to ensure integration and consistency across initiatives. Support special projects and provide ad hoc reporting as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, workforce development, project management, or a related field. (preferred) Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, program reporting, or K-12 education initiatives. Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, project planning, and time management. Demonstrated ability to manage detailed reports and track complex metrics and deliverables. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences. Technical proficiency in Salesforce, Canvas, Eventbrite, MS Teams, Zoom, and similar reporting or collaboration tools Experience working with K-12 institutions, nonprofits, or federally funded education programs. (preferred) Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to lift at least 25 lbs. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, including overnight trips.
