Description:

Project Management performs the primary role in managing all aspects of timely project delivery including: planning, executing, reporting, escalating, controlling, and closing projects. Project Managers engage routinely with internal Sales, Supply Chain, Electrical, Fabrication, Manufacturing, and Service/Installation Departments to drive projects from scope & objective definition through to successful delivery of success.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

Responsibility for the successful initiation, scope, budget, plan, design strategy and execution, tracking, control, reporting, equipment commissioning and closure of a project. Assigns and manages personnel based upon experience level requirements, scope of project and availability. Ensures that each project has clearly defined goals and timelines; Project Managers are held accountable to achieving project objectives. Define, implement continuously improve best practices for Project Management, including written procedures, flow charts, schedules, forms and templates used by JCF to deliver projects on-time, within budget, and within the defined timeline. Provides project budgeting & planning, including responsibility for scheduling, resource assignments, and budget setting and compliance. Formulates cross-functional project teams, drives definition meetings, production kickoff meetings, and milestone meetings throughout the project. Provides thought leadership, strategic insight, and clear communication (written and verbal) to team members. Fosters a project work environment that promotes productivity, innovation, and fairness. Clearly and effectively communicates changes in project scope and impact on cost and schedule. Collaborates with Engineering and Supply Chain to identify and procure long lead purchased items in support of project schedule when required to be managed outside the MRP system. Manage project communication, providing formal and informal status updates both internally and externally, when required. Assure customer satisfaction and project profitability. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Traveling as required for client development and project execution. Requirements:
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of information technology

Experience and Background:

5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing/ supply chain sector Proven experience in leading and managing cross functional teams PMP certification a plus Proven ability to employ counter-measures, and escalation leverage to achieve on time performance is required for success in this role. Strong analytical, financial and organizational skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project for scheduling and resource planning. Equipment, automation and production line process knowledge is preferred Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively. Demonstrated ability to work well with others and to participate in and/or lead a cross-functional team. Analytical ability to prepare reports and other performance measures. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively. Bilingual Spanish highly preferred Independent self-directed worker, team player, problem solver and experienced leader. Demonstrated ability to work well with others and to participate in and/or lead a cross-functional team. Possess ability to drive for results, hold self-accountable, and continuously improve.
