Position Summary:

We are actively seeking a qualified Electrical Project Manager with strong experience managing commercial and industrial construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee all phases of electrical construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects from pre-construction through project closeout. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, manpower projections, and material procurement plans. Coordinate with general contractors, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate completion of work. Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to identify scope, potential issues, and cost impacts. Prepare estimates, change orders, RFIs, and submittals as needed. Monitor and manage project budgets, job costing, and financial performance. Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and resolve onsite issues. Lead project meetings and maintain effective communication with field teams, vendors, and clients. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. Work closely with procurement to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials and equipment. Track and report project status to company leadership on a routine basis.

Qualifications:

5+ years of project management experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction. Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA regulations, and relevant local codes. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. OSHA 30 certification (preferred). PMP or equivalent certification (preferred but not required). Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is a plus. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to access and navigate active construction sites. Occasional lifting of materials up to 50 lbs. Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. Qualified candidates should submit a resume for consideration.
