ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Leads and assists in the development of projects and programs that will establish quality objectives. Oversees the full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major and/or several minor initiatives simultaneously. Interfaces directly with managers, employees, vendors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations. Reports on project success criteria, results, metrics, tests, and deployment management activities. Works creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence. Prepares estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of the project. Creates work plans that include a schedule, milestones, control, and risk factors. Identify complex risks, lead reviews, create risk mitigation and implement action plans. Manages all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned with and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives. Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership. Demonstrates a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices. Manages project scope, changes, and budget. Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including the project team, sponsors, the Chief Information Officer, and key stakeholders. Enhances company and department reputation by accepting ownership, exploring new possibilities, and adding value to the organization. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field and eight years of professional experience in project management, IT system implementation, or computer system administration; or any combination of experience and training that enables one to perform the essential job functions. A good understanding of Waterfall or Agile Methodologies is required. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
