Position Summary:

Securemedy Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for a major security services contract with the Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA). This individual will be responsible for the leadership, management, and performance of all contract personnel, ensuring full compliance with contract specifications, post orders, security plans, and federal, state, and local regulations. The Project Manager will be the primary point of contact with MATA and will have full accountability for service delivery, personnel management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Contract Oversight:

Manage all aspects of contract performance including personnel, compliance, reporting, and client communications. Ensure all services meet or exceed MATA’s security goals, objectives, and milestones.

Personnel Management:

Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise armed and unarmed security officers. Ensure staff maintain professional appearance and performance in accordance with MATA standards.

Security Operations:

Oversee security services such as access control, roving patrols, visitor identification, incident response, reporting, intrusion alarm monitoring, and life safety system support.

Security Plans and Post Orders:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive Security Plan and detailed Post Orders for each site, subject to MATA review and approval. Ensure all personnel are trained and tested on these documents.

Compliance:

Enforce compliance with MATA’s policies, post orders, standard operating procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements, including drug and alcohol testing per 49 CFR 655.15.

Client Relations:

Serve as the primary liaison with MATA management. Respond promptly to client needs, address service issues, and implement improvements where necessary.

Operational Reporting:

Prepare and submit daily operating reports, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and on time.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular site inspections, personnel evaluations, and post audits to maintain the highest standards of service.

Emergency Response:

Lead security response to incidents, emergencies, or special events as needed, ensuring coordination with client and law enforcement as appropriate.

Billing and Cost Accounting:

Oversee administrative duties related to labor tracking, cost accounting, and billing in coordination with corporate finance.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of management experience in contract security services, law enforcement, or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred (criminal justice, management, public administration, or related field). Prior experience managing multi-site security operations for a public sector or transportation client is highly desired. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of security operations, emergency response, and regulatory compliance (including

OSHA, 49 CFR 655.15

). Ability to develop and implement security plans, post orders, and operational procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and incident reporting platforms. Must possess or be able to obtain required security licenses for Tennessee. Ability to pass background checks, drug testing (random and scheduled), and MATA-specific clearance processes.
