The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in estimating and managing commercial metal roofing and wall panel projects. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to take ownership of key projects from bid to completion.
Responsibilities:
Estimate commercial metal roofing and wall panel projects from architectural drawings and field data Perform accurate project take-offs and develop complete bid proposals Review and interpret architectural and construction documents Analyze project specifications and prepare bid requests accordingly Review and submit shop drawings and submittals Order project materials and schedule job installations Direct field crews and clearly communicate scope and expectations Track and manage project changes, requests, and customer requirements Read and understand complex contracts to ensure compliance with bid requirements Maintain organized project documentation and communications with stakeholders Conduct on-site roof inspections and take-offs as needed
Requirements:
3-5+ years of experience in commercial metal roofing/wall panel estimating and project management Strong knowledge of metal roofing systems, retro-fit metal roofing, and various types of wall panels Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specs, and contracts Proficiency in The EDGE Estimating software and Bluebeam (preferred) Strong organizational and documentation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically able to climb ladders and perform roof inspections
