Friday Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator at the company will employ a “project ownership” approach to provide direction to cross-functional teams comprised of customers and business stakeholders. You will work as a member of the company’s Project Management team and will help manage project and order fulfillment processes across our customer portfolio. This person will work closely alongside Sales Account Executives and will require the use of effective communication to ensure customer requirements are managed and fulfilled. It will require a consultative approach to engage the appropriate people, processes, and tools, and to improve efficiency and effectiveness. We need you to act as a team builder to promote empowerment of the team, creating a safe environment for failing fast and learning, engagement and participation of team members, and encourage a sustainable pace that can maintain quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the customer’s project lifecycle between kickoff and completion of material delivery. Coordinate activities to ensure seamless collaboration between the customer and cross-functional departments. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status as required. Strongly prioritize timely responses to customers and departmental inquiries. Oversee the tracking of previously defined project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. Analyze detailed data and evaluate results to determine optimal next steps. Ensure that all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected stakeholders. Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process and take corrective actions, as needed, to drive projects to completion. Coordinate deliverables from the various teams to accompany production dates, shipment releases, etc. Assist with “hands-on” requests and assignments as needed. Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and stewardship, setting an example for team members.

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor of Science or Associate degree in Business Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Minimum of one to two years of relevant experience. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred. Proficiency in traditional project management principles and practices. Effective interpersonal skills include the ability to collaborate within a team. Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing demands. Understanding of business needs and the ability to establish and maintain high levels of customer trust and confidence. Solid experience with tools such as Microsoft Office. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
