The ideal candidate will be responsible for communicating with internal staff, coordinating material with suppliers, managing inventory, scheduling subcontractors and being a liaison to the local municipalities. A major job function includes ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently and within the established timelines. This role requires strong communication skills, a high level of organization and the ability to coordinate with various teams to achieve project goals. Being able to craft effective emails is required, Excel experience is a plus. Duties Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications on the job site. Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Physically visiting job sites to review progress, material inventory and help troubleshoot issues. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and compliance with design specifications. Communicate progress to internal project management and upper management for review and billing purposes. Manage project documentation using drawings and tools such as Bluebeam for effective communication and record-keeping. Implement project management methodologies to streamline processes and enhance productivity. Skills Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in construction processes, ensuring accurate budget forecasting and cost control measures are in place. Familiarity with Bluebeam and DropBox for document management and collaboration among team members. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ability to lead teams on-site, fostering a collaborative environment while maintaining high standards of work quality. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the construction industry is essential.
