The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, be able to work with all levels of the organization and have the ability to learn the business. Having excel experience, being able to multitask and being a quick learner is a must. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage resources, timelines, and budgets while ensuring successful project delivery. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project objectives and enhance overall operational efficiency. Responsibilities Receive documents from the field. Log data and track throughout the month to provide updates on productivity and information for billing purposes. Communicate issues to the field, rectify problems and provide guidance. Create quotes, create change orders and provide estimates to customers for one-off projects. Submit necessary permits. Track employee and equipment hours for costing purposes. Create schedules for hauling (dump trucks). Assist the Lead Estimator on take offs, creating documents and doing estimates. Ordering/releasing material from suppliers. Track supplier deliveries. Verify supplier pricing against the original supplier quote. Communicate with the supply base to obtain invoices when needed. Updating/creating Tennessee 811 requests. Support the Lead Estimator, the Controller and other management. Being self motivated and extremely organized is key. Experience Knowledge of Excel required. Familiarity with HeavyBid (quoting software) is a huge plus. Development construction is a plus. This includes knowledge of grading activities, utilities (sewer, water, storm and electric) install and the associated materials. Experience with heavy equipment (excavator, dozer, skid steer, off-road trucks) is a plus. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Strong technical writing skills for documentation purposes. This is an entry level position with potential for growth. The company has doubled in size in less than two years, so the opportunity is there.
