Who we are: At Lifepoint Health, we provide quality healthcare to rural communities. As a valued member of our team, you will be an integral part of a group working together to elevate Lifepoint’s healthcare delivery network. Our network includes 60+ community hospitals, 60+ rehabilitation/behavioral health hospitals, and 250 additional sites of care across the United States. As an organization, we are dedicated to serving communities nationwide by providing exceptional care. We believe in the power of our talented teams and strive to create environments where employees find purpose and fulfillment. What you’ll do: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a deep understanding of acute care hospital environments to lead technology implementation projects that enhance operational efficiency and improve patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in healthcare IT systems, regulatory compliance, and the fast-paced, critical nature of acute care settings.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the end-to-end implementation of technology solutions tailored to acute care hospitals, such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), computerized physician order entry (CPOE), and clinical decision support systems (CDSS). Collaborate with hospital leadership, clinical teams, IT departments, and external vendors to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA, Joint Commission requirements, and state-specific guidelines. Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines specific to the acute care setting, factoring in shift schedules and critical care operations. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruption to patient care during technology rollouts. Facilitate training sessions and change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption by clinical staff and hospital employees. Monitor project outcomes, documenting lessons learned to continuously improve project delivery in acute care environments. What you’ll need:

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, information technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years managing projects in acute care hospital settings; strong track record of successful implementations.

Certifications:

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required; familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Lean methodologies is a plus.

Additional:

Expertise in acute care workflows, excellent leadership and problem-solving capabilities, proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira). Adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling high-pressure environments with a focus on patient-centered outcomes.

Why choose us:

As a team member of the Health Support Center, our goal is to support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members. Our focus is to attract, retain, and empower a diverse and determined workforce. Our mission statement is at the heart of who we are and what we do: “Making Communities Healthier.” In this shared mission, we believe that our collective efforts will shape a healthier future for the communities we serve.

Benefits:

We offer an excellent total compensation package, including a competitive salary and benefits. Some of our benefits include 401k, flexible PTO, generous Employee illness benefit (EIB), medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and an Employee Assistance Program. We believe that happy, healthy people have a passionate engagement with life and work and have designed our package to enhance your wellbeing. Lifepoint Health is a leader in community-based care and driven by a mission of Making Communities Healthier. Our diversified healthcare delivery network spans 29 states and includes 63 community hospital campuses, 32 rehabilitation and behavioral health hospitals, and more than 170 additional sites of care across the healthcare continuum, such as acute rehabilitation units, outpatient centers and post-acute care facilities. We believe that success is achieved through talented people. We want to create places where employees want to work, with opportunities to pursue meaningful and satisfying careers that truly make a difference in communities across the country.
