This role also requires comprehensive knowledge of the Home and Community-Based Settings Rule. Prerequisites Senior management experience in a relevant field. Qualifications Bachelors degree in a Human Services-related field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (ID/DD) field. A Masters degree is preferred.

Key Responsibilities Program Leadership:

Manage all phases of Community Residential Services, including staff supervision and program implementation. Ensure clinical procedures, training programs, admissions, discharges, and all documentation meet applicable standards and organizational policies.

Supervision of Group Homes:

Support the Group Home Directors in managing individual homes and ensuring daily operations are carried out effectively. Provide guidance for the Directors in handling administrative tasks such as Therap logs, leave records, disciplinary actions, evaluations, and adherence to organizational procedures.

Budget Oversight:

Manage program budgets, review and approve expenditures, and oversee people served account allocations. Collaboration with

Support Staff:

Partner with healthcare professionals (e.g., social workers, wellness, psychologists, psychiatrists) to meet clinical needs of people served. Engagement with

Stakeholders:

Serve as a liaison to families, agencies, and other external organizations. Attend meetings to represent the residential program’s interests.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure the safety and well-being of people served in residential programs. Oversee record management, including implementation of policies for handling residential records.

Public Relations:

Promote awareness and understanding of challenges faced by people with intellectual disabilities through public outreach and presentations. Participate in planning efforts at community, state, and national levels through professional affiliations and committees.

Staff Development:

Provide mentorship and professional growth opportunities for program staff, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and development. Organize regular training sessions and workshops to ensure staff compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Policy Development and Implementation:

Create and update policies to reflect organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Monitor and enforce policy compliance across residential programs.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular evaluations and audits of program effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement. Implement strategies for enhancing service delivery and overall program performance.

Crisis Management:

Develop and oversee protocols for responding to emergencies or crises within the residential programs. Provide leadership and guidance during challenging situations, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal safety.
