Property Manager:

Job Description:

As the Residential Property Manager for a 500+ unit complex, you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless living experience for tenants.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations: Oversee the daily functions of residential properties to ensure smooth operations and tenant satisfaction.

Create and enforce policies:

Develop and maintain property management policies to ensure high service standards.

Supervise staff:

Lead and motivate the leasing, maintenance, and administrative teams to ensure efficiency and excellence.

Manage budgets:

Monitor and manage property budgets to meet financial targets, working with the financial team.

Handle tenant concerns:

Address tenant issues and ensure a positive living experience.

Market available units:

Develop marketing strategies to attract new tenants through online and traditional methods.

Conduct inspections and manage maintenance:

Regularly inspect properties and coordinate necessary repairs to maintain property quality.

Prepare financial reports:

Generate and review financial reports, including budgets and expenses, to track financial performance.

Ensure legal compliance:

Stay updated on housing laws and regulations, ensuring full legal compliance.

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience managing large apartment complex. Proven experience in residential property management. Knowledge of Rent Manager or similar property management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal housing laws.
