Property Manager Decatur Apartments Decatur, AL 35603 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a comprehensive understanding of property management practices. This role requires effective communication and organizational skills to ensure that properties are maintained to the highest standards while maximizing tenant satisfaction. Duties Manage all aspects of property leasing, including upselling available units to prospective tenants. Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Ensure compliance with legal regulations and administrative requirements related to property management. Oversee facilities management tasks, ensuring that all maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of tenant leases, payments, and communications. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance needs. Collaborate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance services. Implement strategies for tenant retention and satisfaction. Experience Proven experience in property management or a related field is required. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with tenants and staff alike. Experience in facilities management and legal administrative tasks is a plus. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
