The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, with expertise in managing LIHTC and Section 8 properties. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, conflict management abilities, and a thorough understanding of real estate laws and regulations. The Property Manager will be responsible for maintaining high occupancy rates, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and managing property budgets. Duties Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to property management and housing laws. Utilize OneSite software for tracking leases, tenant information, and maintenance requests. Negotiate lease agreements and renewals with prospective tenants. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance requirements. Address tenant concerns promptly and effectively to maintain high levels of tenant satisfaction. Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the property. Prepare financial reports and budgets for property operations. Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones. Requirements Proven experience in property management, preferably with LIHTC or Section 8 properties. Strong knowledge of real estate administrative processes and legal requirements related to property management. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Proficient in using OneSite or similar property management software. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with tenants and vendors. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with legal administrative tasks related to leasing agreements and tenant documentation is a plus.
