Job Summary:

The Family Services Coordinator provides leadership and oversight of family and community partnerships, parent engagement, and transportation coordination at the Windham Early Childhood Center, ensuring full compliance with OEC, BOE, NAEYC, and Head Start Performance Standards. The Coordinator supervises Family Advocates through hiring, training, and ongoing support. Facilitate parent involvement in the program and the governance process; implements the family partnership process and coordinates services that promote child well-being and school readiness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Supervise, support, and collaborate with Family Advocates to ensure high-quality family engagement, effective family partnership development, and compliances with Head Start, NAEYC, OEC, and BOE regulations. + Oversee the development and implementation of Family Partnership Agreements, including individualized goal setting, timely referral follow-up, home visits, and child and family partnership meetings. + Develop and monitor a referral system; track family referrals to community agencies and follow up on outcomes to ensure service connections are successful. + Monitor and support family service documentation, including data entry and reporting in the ChildPlus database; assist staff with data accuracy, timeliness, and analysis. Provide targeted training and support to staff as needed. + Plan and facilitate regular family services team meetings; prepare agendas, record meeting minutes, and monitor follow-up actions; conduct individual staff check-ins as needed to support ongoing professional growth and compliance. + ?Facilitate and maintain an active, functioning Parent Committees and a Policy Committee that engage in shared decision-making in accordance with Head Start regulations. + Facilitate transition planning for children entering and exiting the programs. + Collaborate with the leadership team to implement program structures and practices that support compliance, promote school readiness, and drive continuous quality improvement, including: + Developing and monitoring clear program and school readiness goals. + Aligning human resources, staff qualifications, and professional development systems with Head Start, NAEYC, BOE, and OEC standards. + Supporting the recruitment, retention, and ongoing development of qualified staff. + Coordinating the implementation of family engagement, health, and student support services for all children. + Maintaining policies and procedures that ensure full compliance with Head Start, NAEYC, BOE, and OEC regulations.

Qualifications:

+ Experience in early childhood or community-based programs, including staff supervision, family engagement, and service coordination. + Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Family Services, Counseling, or a related field is required. (Master’s Degree, preferred.) If the degree is not directly in human services, a minimum of three years of related administrative and supervisory experience is required. + Credential/certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or related field (or earned within 18 months of hire). + Knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards and family services regulations + Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. +
