The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of property management, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the properties are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and tenant relationships are managed effectively. Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws. Oversee property maintenance activities, coordinating repairs and improvements as necessary. Develop and implement effective customer relationship management strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of contracts, leases, and tenant files. Utilize the property management software, Yardi, for efficient operations and reporting. Implement a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance requests and work orders. Address tenant concerns and conflicts promptly and professionally, employing conflict management skills. Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure quality standards are met. Prepare budgets and financial reports related to property management. Experience Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential. Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is preferred. Familiarity with property maintenance practices and procedures. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills for building relationships with tenants and vendors. Proficiency in property management software (Yardi) is an advantage. Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
