You will lead operations of our community and create and cultivate the team. The right candidate will be hospitality focused and able to build a like-minded team. The Executive Director oversees the operations of the community ensuring the welfare and safety of Residents and Team Members, through the execution of the company’s Mission and Values, company policies/procedures and regulations governing our industry. In this role, you will manage financial performance, maintenance, food service, sales, health & wellness, programming, supervision, training, and the administrative functions of planning, organizing, directing, controlling and coordinating all activities of the community. We are looking for that seasoned leader who: Must possess high-energy/enthusiasm, be a self-starter, have excellent time management skills, a strong initiative, and superior verbal/public speaking skills. Must possess a valid state administrator’s license and must possess and maintain a safe, valid driver’s license. Lead the leadership team of the community to achieve their goals and objectives. Ensures continuity and consistency of delivery and quality of services. Oversees community Team Members and day-to-day operations. Fosters creativity among Team Members to deliver services that maintain and enhance resident stability, independence, and satisfaction. Develops and implements an annual business plan to maintain high occupancy and achieve financial goals. Positively representing the community and our brand. Assuring quality resident care is provided, consistent with the mission of the company, company policies, regulations, and budget objectives. Participate in sales and marketing activities, including lead generation and management. Conduct pre-residency evaluations of all prospective residents to ensure they meet the criteria established by state regulations and operating standards. Maintain and update required community reports. Implement approaches and services to maintain or enhance resident independence. Overseeing and ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant, maintaining the value of the real estate asset. Expected to maintain a high level of resident satisfaction at all times. Implement and participate in the community’s “manager-on-duty” on a regular basis.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, gerontology, business, or related field preferred. Three year’s Executive Director or related Administrator experience. Demonstrated record of success in a leadership capacity of a senior living community. Licensing as required by the state. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Ability to satisfy background screening requirements. Ability to read and interpret financial statements and manage a budget. Work history demonstrating strong ability to hire, direct and manage team members. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in use of computers and computer software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) and standard office equipment. Ability to work evening, weekends, and minimal travel. Must be flexible, innovative, persistent, and committed to successful completion of assignments. Working knowledge of general accounting, billing and collections and expense management practices. Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Able to clearly present information through the spoken word. Can accurately communicate, providing the necessary level of detail even under stressful or demanding conditions. Ensures a positive attitude and team orientation is exhibited in verbal and non-verbal communication. Supports a dignified and caring atmosphere with residents, residents’ families, visitors, and Team Members. Protects privacy and confidentiality of information pertaining to the resident, Team Member, residence, company information and records. Maintains safe and secure working environment and practices safe working habits. Organizes and participates in training, in services, and attends meetings as required.
