Resident Service Coordinator 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars Middletown, CT 06459 Carabetta Property Management is looking to hire a Resident Service Coordinator for their property located in Middletown, CT!! The Resident Service Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient maintenance and service operations across all managed properties. In addition to coordinating repairs and service requests, this role is also responsible for organizing community events and tenant engagement activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, and capable of balancing administrative duties with creative event planning and execution.

Hours:

8am-4:30pm

Pay:

$20-22/hr The responsibilities of the Resident Service Coordinator are: Serve as the first point of contact for all maintenance and service-related inquiries from tenants. Create, dispatch, and track service work orders in the property management system. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion. Follow up with tenants on service requests to ensure issues have been resolved to their satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of work orders, service histories, and vendor interactions. Monitor compliance with maintenance schedules, including preventive maintenance, inspections, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HVAC, fire systems). Communicate urgent issues to property managers and escalate unresolved problems appropriately Plan, coordinate, and execute resident events, seasonal celebrations, and community-building activities. Work within a designated event budget and source necessary supplies, vendors, and venues. Develop and distribute promotional materials (flyers, emails, social media posts) to ensure strong resident participation. Collaborate with the property management team to identify engagement opportunities based on tenant feedback and demographics. Maintain a calendar of events and provide post-event reports and feedback. The requirements of the Resident Service Coordinator are: Familiarity with residential and commercial building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical). Creativity and enthusiasm for planning engaging, inclusive events. Bilingual capabilities a plus. Knowledge of local and state housing regulations and maintenance standards. 2+ years of experience in property management, maintenance coordination, or resident services. Experience in event planning or community engagement strongly preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium) and Microsoft Office Suite. Customer service oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
