This position is designed to prepare individuals for a future role as a Community Manager. In the absence of the Community Manager, you will assume full responsibility for property operations and staff management.
Key Responsibilities Support Property Operations :
Work closely with the Community Manager to learn all aspects of property management, including administrative and financial duties.
Staff Supervision :
Supervise staff in the absence of the Community Manager and ensure the efficient operation of the property.
Financial Management :
Collect rent payments, make daily deposits, process invoices, and ensure all records are up-to-date.
Resident Relations :
Handle resident service requests, conduct follow-up calls, and assist in maintaining positive relationships.
Leasing & Marketing :
Assist in leasing activities and support marketing efforts, including rate increases, promotions, and advertising.
Property Inspections :
Regularly inspect common areas, apartment units, and grounds, offering recommendations for improvements.
Training & Development :
Assist in the training and development of leasing and property staff.
Compliance :
Ensure all operations comply with Arlington Properties’ policies and Fair Housing laws. #

Qualifications Education/Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in business, hospitality, or property management is preferred. Property management and leasing experience is a plus.
Skills :
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Experience with sales or multi-family leasing is desirable.
Licenses/Certificates :
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and auto insurance required.
Technical Skills :
Computer literacy required; familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and property management software is preferred.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and perform various office tasks. Working Environment Office environment and residential property. Must be able to work weekends or after-hours when needed.
