Job Description

Chapter Director 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Vero Beach, FL 32960 • Hybrid work Job Summary The Chapter Director is a catalyst for the Safe Families movement, leading local strategy to expand impact, grow the movement, and reach as many families as possible within their community. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, church and community engagement, volunteer mobilization, and strategic partnership development. The Chapter Director collaborates with the State Director to secure both public and private funding to sustain and grow the chapter, ensuring that Safe Families can continue to serve local families facing hardship. Duties Lead the local implementation of Safe Families’ mission, ensuring high-qualityservice delivery to families in crisis. Foster a mission-driven, team-oriented culture, inspiring staff and volunteers to lead with Radical Hospitality, Disruptive Generosity, and Intentional Compassion. Build and strengthen relationships with local donors, businesses, and communitystakeholders to increase financial support for the chapter. Work with State Director and Local Advisory Coucil to identify and secure public and private funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and donor contributions. Support local fundraising efforts, donor cultivation, and engagement strategies to ensure chapter sustainability and growth. Develop and strengthen relationships with local churches, equipping them to engage inSafe Families ministry effectively. Oversee budgeting processes to ensure financial sustainability and resource allocation aligns with organizational goals. Oversee service delivery and ensure that families receive high-quality care andsupport from trained volunteers and staff. Monitor program outcomes and implement improvements based on data analysis and feedback. Provide coaching and support to staff as needed. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in social work, nonprofit management, ministry, or a related field(Master’s preferred). Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in nonprofit management, church leadership, community engagement, or a related field. Strong understanding of faith-based community mobilization and volunteer engagement. Experience in fundraising, donor cultivation, and financial sustainability strategies. Proven ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with churches, nonprofits,and community organizations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Passion for serving families in crisis and promoting the mission of Safe Families. Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing community-based engagement withadministrative responsibilities. Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independent initiative.
