Residential Group Home Manager Guions Behavioral Services, LLC 721 Balmoral Circle, Leesburg, FL 34748 Job Summary Guions Professional Services is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and driven Group Home Manager to lead the daily operations of our senior care and developmental disabilities facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of memory care, dementia care, and the specialized needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. This individual will ensure high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and a nurturing environment for residents and staff alike. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy Champion and implement the vision, mission, and strategic direction of Guions Behavioral Services. Enhance staff performance through training, coaching, orientation, and ongoing professional development. Provide effective leadership and mentorship to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), encouraging excellence and accountability. Staff Management & Development Conduct regular in-house training sessions and ensure timely completion of required certifications and re-certifications. Oversee behavior monitoring training and ongoing competency evaluations. Lead quarterly staff meetings and one-on-one transition meetings. Maintain grooming and uniform standards among staff. Program Oversight Supervise all group home operations, ensuring compliance with Qlarant and licensing reviews. Facilitate community involvement and outreach opportunities for residents. Promote resident independence and progress toward individualized support and behavior goals. Resident Care Ensure all residents’ physical, medical, emotional, and personal needs are met. Conduct regular meetings with residents and planning teams to update individualized support plans. Schedule and monitor medical appointments and ensure daily vitals are recorded. Ensure proper medication administration and documentation in line with physician orders. Data & Compliance Monitor and ensure accuracy of: Replacement Behavior Data Incident Reports ABC Data and Target Behavior entries in CareSoft Daily Progress Notes Conduct weekly audits and provide retraining as necessary. Maintain and audit client financial documentation, including all purchases over $25 with receipts. Communication & Coordination Maintain open communication with residents’ families, updating them monthly on progress. Respond 24/7 to emergencies involving residents, families, or staff. Coordinate with group home providers for maintenance, equipment, and supply needs. Plan and prepare meals considering dietary restrictions and preferences. Meetings & Reporting Attend internal and APD provider meetings. Host monthly housing meetings with residents. Participate in quarterly and annual client meetings. Qualifications Proven leadership experience in residential group home or senior care settings. Strong background in memory and dementia care. Experience with long-term care, especially in home and community-based environments. Operational and supervisory experience with a focus on compliance and quality of care. Familiarity with individualized support plans and clients’ rights. Ability to lead with compassion while working effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities. Work Schedule This is a full-time position , with availability required on weekends and for emergency calls as needed.
