Assistant Property Manager 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Fort Myers, FL 33905 Assistant Property Manager – Villa Vincente Apartments SPM, LLC, a full-service national property management firm, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the Community Manager in the general administration and physical operation of the apartment community. A strong emphasis should be placed on the timely collection and posting of all rental payments to ensure maximum possible collections are obtained each month.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES

At least one year leasing experience preferred. Strong organizational and computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn new software applications quickly. Collect rent and prepare late notices. Post the Cash Receipts Journal daily, maintain current tenant ledger cards, and make bank deposits on a daily basis. Assist Community Manager with processing and coding property invoices. Assist with on-site or management-resident relations. Must possess the ability to maintain a professional image and attitude in keeping with the objectives of the community and the residents’ welfare. Must respect residents’ privacy and maintain confidentiality of all aspects of the community. Must have the ability to comply with all governmental laws and regulations, including but not limited to fair housing, environmental and safety laws and regulations. Must have valid driver’s license, proper automobile liability insurance and dependable transportation that is in good operating condition.
