  • We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic property management team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our residential properties and ensuring that they are well-maintained, efficiently managed, and meet the needs of our residents. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in property management and contribute to the growth of our organization.

  • Responsibilities
  • Assist the Property Manager in overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the properties, ensuring that all aspects of the buildings are well-maintained and in compliance with local health and safety regulations.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the properties, including but not limited to rent collection, lease administration, and handling resident inquiries and issues.
  • Coordinate and perform routine property inspections to identify and address any maintenance or repair issues.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing their concerns and needs in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of property-related information, including but not limited to rent collections, lease agreements, and maintenance schedules.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and budgets for the property, including financial statements, occupancy reports, and maintenance records.
  • Familiarize yourself with and comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs.
  • Support the Property Manager in enforcing property rules and regulations, including but not limited to noise restrictions, parking policies, and guest policies.
  • Utilize property management software, including OneSite, to manage property operations and maintain accurate records.
  • Skills
  • Strong background in property management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Experience with real estate administrative tasks, such as lease administration and rent collection.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle resident inquiries and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Knowledge of property maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Familiarity with contracts and negotiation processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with property management software, including OneSite.
  • Knowledge of LIHTC programs and relevant regulations and policies.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$18.00

Schedule:

Evenings as needed Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
