Community Patrol Supervisor –

Rover Job Function:

Responsible for the direct supervision of both paid and volunteer Security Personnel, under the authority of the Board of Directors and reporting directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement standard procedures for all security staff (paid and volunteer). Train all guards to ensure consistent and proper performance. Prepare and manage monthly staff duty schedules; hold meetings as needed. Maintain a strong understanding of Six Lakes’ Rules and Regulations. Submit daily reports to the General Manager. Review and approve payroll forms for paid guards. Maintain inventory of all security equipment and uniforms; report repair or replacement needs. Liaise with local law enforcement as necessary. Assist with the preparation of the Community Patrol budget. Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager. Community Patrol –

Rovers & Gate Attendants Gate Attendant Responsibilities:

Greet all residents and guests courteously. Verify entry authorization via window stickers, gate passes, or computer records. Check driver’s licenses for residents without stickers or passes. Record guest vehicle license plate numbers. Deny unauthorized guests entry if residents cannot be reached by phone. Allow immediate entry for emergency vehicles and government officials; refer questionable cases to the office. Maintain a professional appearance in the provided company shirt.

Rover Responsibilities:

First Shift:

Conduct 4 full property tours. Check lift stations 3 times. Inspect the maintenance building once. Monitor Littleton Road area 3 times; check all gate perimeter walls. Inspect the golf course using a golf cart during daylight hours. Ensure the Pro Shop, Seagull Hall, Wedge, Pelican Place, and office are secure. Clear pool area by 10:00 PM when lights go out.

Second Shift:

Conduct 5 full property tours. Check lift stations 2 times. Inspect the maintenance building once. Monitor Littleton Road area 2 times; check all gate perimeter walls. After 5:00 AM, unlock both halls, verify thermostats are set to 78° (auto), turn on restroom lights, and play radio.

Important Note:

Rovers act as the community’s eyes. Never approach suspicious individuals. Call the Sheriff’s Office immediately for assistance. All rover personnel are provided with a company shirt and pants. Staff must report to work neat, clean, and in uniform.
