A well-established, mission-driven academic support initiative is seeking a Program Manager to oversee a tutoring program that connects students with qualified tutors across the region. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate all aspects of a local tutoring center, including scheduling, daily operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment for families and students. Manage a roster of independent contractor tutors, ensuring timely scheduling, quality of services, and consistent communication. Collaborate with marketing professionals to increase program visibility through social media, digital platforms, and community outreach. Serve as the main point of contact for incoming referrals, inquiries, and partner relationships from schools, community organizations, and local advocates. Assist in matching students with the appropriate tutors based on subject matter, needs, and availability. Monitor participation and ensure reliable follow-through from all parties involved. Leverage knowledge of educational funding programs, especially Step Up for Students , to guide families through eligibility and application processes. Support program compliance, reporting, and performance tracking.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong organizational and communication skills. Prior experience in educational settings, nonprofit programs, case management, or student services preferred. Working knowledge of the Step Up for Students program or similar scholarship/funding initiatives. Experience coordinating independent contractors or staff in a high-touch service environment. Comfort with social media and online platforms for community engagement. Tutoring or teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
