Full-time Summary:

The Youth Football Manager position plays an important role in representing the Junior Dolphins brand and growing the game of football within the South Florida region and designated international markets. The Youth Football Manager will be responsible for driving key Junior Dolphins initiatives impacting girls flag football, tackle football, and related community donations. This position will also provide marketing support for the department, including leading the Junior Dolphins social media activities.

Location:

This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:

Lead assigned Junior Dolphins initiatives such as girls flag programs, including combines, clinics, kick off events, and leagues, as well as youth football donations within the local community
Serve as the Junior Dolphins activation lead for Miami Dolphins home games and community pop up events (e.g. Friday Night Lights, local football jamborees)
Support expansion of youth football programming within designated international markets (international travel is required)
Serve as a marketing liaison for the Youth Football department, with responsibilities for the initiation and oversight of marketing requests, player, alumni, and cheer appearances, management of Junior Dolphins social media accounts, and other marketing support duties as assigned
Responsible for the planning and execution of Junior Dolphins awards programs (e.g. coach of the week, coach of the year)
Oversee department equipment, including inventory and maintenance of football equipment and department vehicles
Develop strong relationships within the local youth football community and serve as a brand ambassador to grow the game within South Florida and international markets
Responsible for part-time staff recruitment and hiring processes for Junior Dolphins coaches and other department support staff

Qualifications:

Understanding of the game of football and experience in youth athletics
Strong project and event management skills are required; Must be detail oriented
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Must be a team player who takes accountability for their actions and willing to think outside of the box
Flexible and adaptable, with strong customer service skills (working with coaches, administrators, parents, etc.)
Ability to speak Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus
