Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced House Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and management of a private residence in Miami, FL. This is a part-time role and will begin as a temp, with the opportunity to turn into full-time after 3 months. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, effective coordination of vendors and household systems, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of service that aligns with the Principal’s lifestyle and expectations. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Oversee the overall upkeep and presentation of the residence, both interior and exterior.
  • Manage ongoing care for all household systems, including HVAC, audio/visual equipment, plumbing, security, and smart home technology.
  • Perform routine walk-throughs to ensure the property remains clean, organized, and guest-ready.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and supervise regular service providers (e.g., housekeeping, gardening, pool maintenance, pest control).
  • Research, vet, and manage third-party contractors for maintenance projects or home improvements.
  • Monitor quality of work and address any service issues promptly to maintain high standards.
  • Maintain detailed household inventory, including groceries, cleaning supplies, and specialty items.
  • Handle all purchasing, reordering, and special requests in alignment with the Principal’s preferences.
  • Monitor household expenses, reconcile receipts, and provide budget summaries upon request.
  • Keep household documentation organized, including vendor lists, service schedules, and equipment manuals.
  • Communicate consistently with the broader support team to report on property status, outstanding tasks, or special needs.
  • Ensure personal vehicles remain clean, fueled, and aligned with the client’s standards of presentation.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all personal, household, and professional matters.
  • Monitor and enforce home security protocols.
  • Ensure the property remains secure and well-managed during periods of travel or absence.
Schedule:

20 hours weekly. Schedule will fluctuate on a weekly basis.

Pay:

$5,000/monthly. This is a 1099 position.
