The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance practices. This role is critical in ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, promoting safety, efficiency, and productivity. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff, ensuring effective performance and adherence to safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with regulations. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules. Perform electrical troubleshooting using tools such as an ohmmeter, ensuring all electrical systems are functioning correctly. Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance operations. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to guide repair and installation processes. Maintain logic controllers and other automated systems to ensure optimal operation. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment. Train and mentor team members on best practices in industrial maintenance and facilities management. Qualifications Proven experience in a supervisory role within an industrial maintenance environment. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Familiarity with facilities management principles and practices. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Experience with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities. Ability to fabricate components as needed for repairs or upgrades. Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals related to machinery and equipment. Understanding of logic controllers and their applications in industrial settings. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
