The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As an Apartment Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the property, managing tenant relations, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations while fostering a welcoming environment for residents. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of the apartment complex, ensuring smooth functioning and high resident satisfaction. Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance needs. Handle lease agreements, renewals, and terminations while ensuring adherence to Fair Housing regulations. Implement effective conflict management strategies to resolve disputes between tenants. Maintain accurate records through data entry related to tenant information, maintenance requests, and financial transactions. Promote community engagement by organizing events and activities for residents. Assist in sales efforts by upselling available units and amenities to prospective tenants. Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants while maintaining a positive relationship with existing residents. Oversee facilities management tasks including coordinating repairs, maintenance schedules, and vendor relationships. Requirements Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records. Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle tenant disputes effectively. Familiarity with legal administrative tasks related to leasing agreements and Fair Housing regulations. Sales experience is a plus, particularly in upselling services or amenities. Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries from potential tenants and current residents. Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining professionalism in all interactions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
