Job Description
A family is seeking a live-out, assistant property manager to oversee and support the daily operations for two residential properties in Palm Beach. The candidate will oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and management of both properties. You will be based in Palm Beach, FL and will report directly to the property manager. The ideal candidate should be energetic and willing ‘to learn the ropes’. This is a role where you can learn new skills and trades. These properties operate on a rotating schedule, and the ideal candidate will have a flexible, 24/7 mindset with availability as needed. Consecutive days off are not guaranteed. However, during the off-season, employees benefit from a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with weekends off.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are functioning properly and coordinate repairs as necessary Assist in managing contractors and service providers, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards Assist with daily property checks, rotating with team members to ensure each property is thoroughly inspected every day Assist with hiring and training of property staff Manage and supervise residence/property operations Administration tasks Property/Residence management tasks Maintain all family and staff vehicles Maintain vendor relationships
Desired Qualifications:
The ability to speak Spanish is preferred, but not a requirement Physical ability to handle items that may be heavy at times (up to 35 lbs.). Sit and stand for long periods of time, climb and bend as needed to perform duties. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
